Appointment Cancellation Policy

It has always been our goal at Doral Medical Center to ensure every appointment with us is a professional and pleasurable experience. In order to better serve all of our clients with convenient times, we must enforce our cancellation policy. Your appointment time is important to you, the specialist and to others who are in need of our services.

Please be advised there is a 24 hour notice of a cancellation required. If you cancel after the time requirement, or do not show for a scheduled appointment, your treatment or one of your treatments will be deducted from your package.

If you cannot keep you appointment for any reason, please call us at 786-464-1397 or e-mail us at: info@doralmedicalcenter.com. When a Patient cancels shortly before the appointment or is a “no-show,” we miss the opportunity to treat another patient. We appreciate your courtesy in calling us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows are disruptive to the optimal delivery of care to you and our other patients. Missed appointments prevent other patients from coming in at the same time and affect the consistency of your own treatment. As a result of 2 late cancellations or no-shows will result in discontinuing a session or your treatment.

As a courtesy to you, we try to confirm all appointments the day before, however, ultimately it is your responsibility to remember your appointment.

To ensure that your treatment starts on time, we request that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. If you arrive late for your appointment or, did not follow the pretreatment requirements, we will have to reschedule you and deduct a treatment.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, Doral Medical Center reserves the right to consider you a no-show. If the schedule permits, we will perform all or part your treatment areas. However, this is not a guarantee and Doral Medical Center cannot be held responsible for late arrivals. If you have to reschedule any part of your original appointment, our policies will be enforced.

There are no exceptions; we have a no tolerance policy towards this. We do pay a Specialist for your treatment time and reserved a room for that time period. This is our only control factor to maintain our low price structures which we offer. Our goal is to not raise prices on everyone for a few customers that no show appointments or cancel without proper notice. Without this policy in place our internal expenses would rise and then we would have to increase prices for everyone. Our business model and aggressive price structure simply can’t afford to not enforce these rules fee. Please be considerate of our time and we will in return be considerate of your time and provide you with excellent laser treatments. This has been our policy for 8 years and it has benefited everyone in maintaining our internal and external cost. Please do not ask us to make exceptions to our policy and our staff has no ability to change our policy.
